Rashid Khalidi in the New York Times

" it should realize that supporting its subjugation of the Palestinians will be disastrous not only for the victims of this oppression, the rule of law and for vital U.S. interests, but also for the Israeli people. "  I know that Rashid (my teacher and mentor for undergraduate and graduate years at AUB) is addressing an American public, but should we really try to address them from the perspective and their racism? It is like appealing to their Israeli-centric biases.
